General Rules for Forum and Role-playing

Ha, for some strange reason unknown I was put in charge for putting up rules for the site that are not so uhh uptight shall we say. ^^;; You know know the punishments for breaking these rules that are being put in place. So for the sake of the staff please follow the rules.

No flaming!
Just as you would wish for someone to respect you, you are to do the same. Their is no reason for such an imature act and if caught doing so you will be delt with.
No God Modding!
Ok i'm sure all of you have seen this in places. People who characters are just impossible to take down. Well you know that is just wrong. Everyone ha a weakness and so do your characters. So lets just say don't go about making your character as if no one can take them down. Also another note, unless you are given say so by another member you are not allowed to control another fan character that is not yours. Suspension and banning is taken to account for members who repeat this offense.
No Spamming!
Ok, if you all have not noticed the spam board is gone. This is a Role play site. Not a site for spamming. Try to stay on topic and don't hi-jack threads; meaning turning a thread of another topic into a completely different topic of your own. Don't go on about endless babble or just post a single word. Examples include lol, heh, hi, ect...
No Bumping!
By Far the rule that everyone hates here! Yes while the rule stays that you can not bump old threads the time limit for it will not. I mean seriously foks two weeks? You gotta be freaking kidding me. Most of us, mainly all of us, have lives outside of Tails World and we know that things happen. So the new time limit for bumping. *drum roll* Five Weeks!! Yeah doesn't that sound a bit better.
Note: If for any reason you wish to open an old rp PLEASE contact one of the staff here and if your reasons are sincere we will gladly allow for you to open that rp once more.
Do not steal any artwork!
Ok, we know that stealing is bad right kids? Its no different here in this world. Stealing of any artwork is cause for suspension and/or being banned. Is their really anything else that needs to be said.
Don't double post
As Wast said:"There is such a thing as an edit button. USE IT." Their is no reason why anyone should be double posting anymore. It takes up space people and we all can see that. Just don't do it please. We don't want to have to start swinging clubs at you for ignoring such a simple rule.
Don't swear
Ok, umm lets say no heaving swearing. We all swear from time to time. Were all human, or in this case three foot tall animals. Ok you know which ones are light and which ones are bad. Its like how the FFC regulates TV. Anyone who uses harsh words outside of the adult board will be giving a warning for a first strike. Issues beyond this will lead to supention and possible banning.
No l33t
No l33t should be used in this forum at all. l33t is SPAM, was always SPAM, and is never going to stop being SPAM! Repeated l33t will get you perm banned.
Don't break RPs
Hey look i'm going by a rule! Don't be an ass about this people. (Yes ass can be used. Just don't use it a lot). Going in and breaking up an rp is one of the more heavy crimes known throughout the rp world. For the sake of yourself don't do it. If this is seen being done on several occasions you will be first hit with warnings and then suspended and possibly banned.
Do not argue with/disrespect/flame a staff member
While us staff members want nothing more then to serve you and make sure you have a wonderful time here, we would appreciate it if you did not harass us. We are working our hardiest to keep the site up for you. Breaking this rule, depending on how severe it is , will lead to punishments ranging from warnings to banishment. This goes for all members, moderators and admins.
Do not request Staff privileges.
While in the past this was a very loose issue it no longer is treated as so. The staff that has been created for the site are experienced members of the site. If at any point we need help we will ask you. Do not come to us asking for it or it will result in warnings and possible banning.
Don't Backseat Moderate
Backseat moderating is when a member with no authority starts ordering around other members in a commanding way. If someone is found to be breaking the rules, tell them they've done wrong and report them. An staff will report to an admin who will will then take the most effective cause of action.
You will NOT be in trouble if you don't report.
